The villages of the Extended Community of Aspropotamos are known for their incomparable roasts and splendid traditional flavors such as “Kebab” that looks like Kontosoufli. The traditional pies are very tasty, particularly the “mpatzina” of Aspropotamos. Also, you will find a variety of cheese from the livestock-farmers of the region such as Feta and Kefalotiri.
Traditional taverns exist in all the villages of the Extended Community. The region is famous for the taverns-barbecues, and its traditional cafes that offer an exceptional quality of local traditional snacks.
