HISTORY OF KALABAKA

Built on the foothills of the Rocks of Meteora, it is a commercial and tourist centre, not only in order for someone to visit the Meteora but also in order to visit Chasia, Koziaka or Triggia and Aspropotamos, while it is also a passage to Epirus. ANCIENT TOWN OF KALABAKA

The biggest part of pre-war Kalabaka extended from the current Town hall up to the small church of Saint-George, in the district of Sopotos.
